Our Commitment to Privacy

ACM STUDIO (individual/sole trader) respects everyone’s right to privacy. This page summarizes what personally identifiable information we may collect, if any, and how we might use this information. This policy also describes other important topics relating to your privacy. ACM STUDIO reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. An update version and date will appear.

In General & Cookies

In general, when you visit any website and any dance show/school play webpages and access information, you remain totally anonymous to us aside from our hosting servers capturing your IP address which protects the integrity of the service. We do not require you to register or provide personal information to us in order to view our site. We have not set up any cookies either. We are only interested in your order.

Ordering

We use Paypal as our payment service. If you are a member of Paypal, then you will have agreed to show your ‘details’ to a Paypal Merchant in using the service. As most DVDs are delivered to schools for handout, we don’t actually need your address. Paypal holds on to this in the transaction details for a long time. We do not. We will hold electronically, in the form of emails and an xcel sheet, the transaction details upto two years, as this takes into account folk that query orders over a year later! After that time, only paper copies will be kept in accordance with UK tax rules (proof of transactions) for 6 years. The only time we ask for additional information, is if we need to send you a DVD - for whatever reason and in some cases only by permission due to child protection policies. And then usually that is only handwritten onto the envelope itself.

Your Information

We will not sell or exchange your personal information at any time. And Paypal expressly forbids it’s provided data - should you be ordering that way - to be shared that way. General information (such as the type of browser you use, the files you request, and the domain name and country from which you request information) is collected by our server provider, (this is general practise given freely) that could be used to improve our Web site and better meet your needs, but we don’t bother with it, as we listen to your verbal/text/email feedback instead - far more personal.

Use of Information

Information gained by filling in an order via Paypal button, is solely used to enable a copy of the DVD to get to you. If you have submitted personal information to us electronically via Paypal, and would like it removed or modified, please contact Paypal, as we cannot touch your personal information on Paypal. For other data removal, we will use every possible and reasonable effort to comply with your request.

Links

ACM STUDIO might provide links to, at some point, other websites that we do not control. Therefore we cannot endorse or otherwise accept responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies posted on third party sites.

GDPR compliance

Whilst mainly intended for the larger business, the global operator and those annoying emails that come in from lists you never signed up for, as a sole trader I still have to take note.

The most secure way you can buy a DVD from us is to write out an orderform and pay in cash. No digital data there, but just the appearance on an xcel spreedsheet! Simples.

Your Data

Please ask at any time for your data to be removed. If it is before the end of our two year period,

and your DVD didn't arrive, has failed or is the wrong one, we wil not be able to do anything about it as we will have no record of the sale to you.
