How we shoot the performance

Performances are shot with three/four cameras. This allows for close ups without zooming in or out. It also gives a 'what you see on television' feel to it. Two cameras are manned, by one person which actually gives greater continuity between shots, where two cameramen need a director and vision mixer, and puts the price up. Mistakes are sorted in the edit.

Editing afterwards

This takes time as we want to get the best out of the performance. There's titling, graphic design, menu creation, case design etc. When we have a few productions on the go at the same time, (Christmas and end of Summer Term) it could take a few more weeks than usual to get to you.

We try to keep the action/dance,  and those who are speaking in shot, with close ups. We might enhance - ie if there is a loud rumble, the camera might shake! Also, any embarrassing pauses or forgotten lines we try to take out. That's a little more difficult in a dance routine.

Finished DVD

The DVD will be colour printed, and have a full menu with selection menus for both acts/parts if needed, so that you can easily select near your child’s performance. Inside the box there is an info sheet featuring the programme run-down. The box itself has a full colour inlay, featuring some of the performance in pictures.

Free Delivery

Free delivery lasts until the first batch of orders are fulfilled and sent to the school/group. Postage will have to be added after that.

Replacements

Should your disk not play, we will replace it. Last Christmas, out of 480 disks that went out, only one person's DVD player refused to play the disk. A different make of disk solved this.

Also, if you haven't received your disk when others have, please get in contact immediately. We keep full records, but we're not perfect. We will rectify any mistake made as quickly as we can - but you need to tell us!
